The Redmond based software giant proved that it is capable enough to retain its customer base and draw new customers through its modern operating system. I am not saying that there are no criticisms about the new operating system. The highlight of Windows 8.1 is its status as an update to the flawed Windows 8 operating system. Folks who have Windows 8 license can upgrade to Windows 8.1 free. Even while Microsoft says that Windows 8.1 is a brand new operating system, the tech giant has released it just like an update to the Windows 8 users.
